Amani UK - "Ng’ad Yor Tielo"

We support the community group Ng’ad Yor Tielo, Western Kenya, meaning ‘follow the footsteps’.  The group has 20 adult members, five of whom are widows. The group also supports 11 orphans.

Since November 2024, they have been shown how to look after money. From there, they have been able to set up in micro businesses, e.g. selling grains, selling fruit, buying poultry and selling eggs. This in turn means that they are able to provide food for their families and the orphans; provide school uniforms; pay school fees so that the children can continue their education; buy mosquito nets; pay for healthcare.

Amani UK’s aim is to provide for the community needs of Western Kenya by helping the Kenyan people find a Kenyan solution to their challenges which is sustainable and capable of continuous development. Amani UK is a humanitarian charity. Whilst guided by Trustees called to do so by their Christian faith, Amani UK operates across the whole community it serves, irrespective of faith or belief
